How does the process work?

We will look to process your PPI claim for you from start to finish. When you call us you will have an initial consultation with one of our trained advisors. If they believe you are able to reclaim PPI then they will pass your case on to a PPI claim specialist solicitor.

Your solicitor will be able to get hold of the lender and try to secure your mis-sold PPI for you. When they have worked out an amount that is likely to be paid to you, we will call you to confirm that it’s OK to go ahead and pursue the claim. Whilst they are doing this we will keep you updated of any developments, and you will receive your money when the reclaim is successful.

How long is it likely to take to get my money?

Reclaiming PPI takes an average of four months to reach a settlement, however most claims go through even quicker than this.

What sort of accounts can I claim for?

PPI can be reclaimed on any account or loan that it was added to by mis-selling. Most reclaims include both secured and unsecured personal loans, car loans and hire purchase loans, mortgages and credit card charges. You can claim on loans that have been paid off or are still in the process of being paid.

I think I was mis-sold PPI. What are the signs to look out for?

Your PPI policy may have been mis-sold if:

  • You were told payment protection insurance was compulsory to be accepted for you loan application
  • You were pressured heavily into taking out PPI.
  • None of the exclusions to making a claim on your PPI policy were explained to you.
  • You were unemployed, self-employed or retired and the PPI policy was sold to you regardless.
  • You weren’t made aware of any alternative PPI policies available to you.
  • You were made to pay a lump sum upfront to cover you and were not told of paying monthly.
  • You tried to make a claim on your PPI policy but were refused despite giving the right information at the time it was sold.
What percentage of my loan is likely to be PPI?

PPI is an incredibly expensive addition to your loan. On average it constitutes around 25% of your total loan repayment amount. This means that if you have a loan, mortgage or credit card, there will be potentially of thousands of pounds waiting to be reclaimed.

Can’t I just make the claim myself?

You can, but as the process is fairly complex and time-consuming the majority of people prefer to use a PPI claims handler as it takes away all responsibility and stress of going through the process. What do you charge for this service?

No fees are charged up front for making a claim for mis-sold PPI. Your case will be dealt with by a solicitor on a No Win No Fee basis, which means you are protected financially if you happen to be unsuccessful. If your PPI claim is successful we will deduct 25% +VAT of your overall awarded amount to a maximum of £2,500 +VAT.
